Following an injury sustained by our client's father removing a plug from an electrical outlet, we collaborated to create a safer alternative for those who are elderly or have disabilities. The result was the Pinch Plate, an innovative outlet cover with built-in plastic retractors that eject the plug when pinched, simplifying the act of unplugging. This design is not only easy to use but its snap-fit assembly process makes it cost-effective, making it an ideal upgrade for homes and facilities to improve safety and independence for its users.
