We were challenged to make a beverage aeration filter, a device that enfuses beverages (often wine or whiskey) with oxygen, faster than anything else on the market. We focused on creating a visual aeration process with as many streams of liquid as possible within the constraints. We created 129 different prototypes and tested them in A/B split tests with a slow motion camera in a custom testing rig we developed. The resulting filter design achieves the goal of aerating a beverages faster than anything before it. We now have a patent on the filter design.
